Passing along news about the forthcoming Open Source Hardware Summit, a conference and jam session with some interesting academics and technologists working on developing accessible, repairable, ecological tech.

It's May 3+4th (and also 5th?), hosted at Concordia University and LESPACEMAKER workshop in Montreal. I think there will be plenty there to keep a comms/media studies scholar happy.
