1. Office hours

Our winter offie hours are as follows,
Mondays 1-2 pm Scott, Treasurer
Tuesdays 1 - 2 pm Shalcey, VP
Wednesdays 12-1 pm Brooke, President
Thursdays 2-3 pm Lorraine, Social Coordinator

2. Anarky Talk
 Jan 28th talk will be given by Kelly Monteleone titled "Lost Worlds:
Locating Submerged Archaeological Sites in Southeast Alaska" All talks
are in ES614 from 12pm-1pm. As always tea and coffee will be provided. We
are currently looking for people to bring snacks. Chacmool will reimburse
the cost. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside our office in ES
826.

3. Poster Competition

Chacmool Conference 2015 is looking poster ideas and logos!
- This will be a Poster and Logo competition, the winner will receive a
prize (to be
announced at a later point).
- This poster should follow the theme of the 2015 Chacmool conference: The
48th
Annual Chacmool Conference entitled: Shallow Pasts, Endless Horizons:
Sustainability
and Archaeology. Attached is a copy of the finalized 2015 Conference Topic
to draw
information and ideas from.
- The Logo is separate from the Chacmool society logo (which does not have
to be
present on the poster).
- Please be creative, don't be afraid to use colour and contrast to help
make a
poster that draws the eye while communicating the overall theme of the
conference.
Thank you for your time and contributions to the upcoming Conference! We look
forward to viewing and judging all of the posters and logos.
The digital copies may be sent to 2015chacmool at gmail.com, hard copies may
be dropped
off at ES 826. As of yet there is no decided deadline, more info on this will
be sent out in subsequent weeks.
