1.Winter Meet and Greet

Its the time again folks! Come on out to our Winter Meet and Greet! It
will be taking place Feb. 6th at 5pm in ES859. As always there will be
free food and a cash bar with wine and beer options! This is a great way
to get to know you're fellow archaeologists (Students and Professors) is a
relaxed atmosphere. If you don't know anyone do not fear your Chacmool
execs do not bite and are pretty friendly people who would love to meet
you. We hope to see you there.

2. Arky T-shirt Day

In case you missed the Facebook post, our next arky T-shirt day will take
place on Feb 20th. Wear your best arky shirt to represent your field! It
doesn't have to be a Chacmool one! In case you don't own an arky themed
shirt or just don't feel like doing laundry we would be happy to sell you
one for a very reasonable one!

3. Anarky Talk
Next wednesday's talk will be given by Sabrina Peric. It is titled Melting
Frontiers Imperial Oil, Canadian Petroscience and the Permafrost Archives.
Check out the poster for more details. As always there will be coffee and
snacks. It will be in ES614.

4. Undergrad Awards

For those of you who have done research you need to check this out.
The Undergraduate Awards is the world's only pan disciplinary academic
awards programme. If you have a project that you are particularly proud of,
submit it online to be recognised as the best in your field.
