For her presentation in Canada, Pia will discuss “Rebuilding trust: How the community can leverage impact from solutions-oriented journalism in the Philippines” thinking about the journalist’s expanding role that goes beyond reporting to include proposing impactful solutions to social challenges. Her presentation explores how journalism can be more than truth-telling, leading to advocacy for collaborative action.

FREE registration required<http://ranada.eventbrite.ca/>. This event is open to the TMU community and the public.
