Greetings fellow CCA members,

On behalf of the Media Access and Copyright Group<https://www.filmstudies.ca/resources/media-access-and-copyright-working-group-report> (MAC), we encourage you to attend our latest workshop, “Best Practice Copyright Codes for Media Reuse” at the 2024 FMSAC Conference in Montréal.  Our Workshop explores the collective problems with copyright access that many FMSAC members experience in both their research and teaching. Members of the MAC Working Group will facilitate the discussion and outline the need for participation from FMSAC/CCA members in the development of our best practice codes. The Workshop will also outline how MAC's projected, user-developed best practice codes will help to address these issues.

Our hybrid workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 11:00 – 12:30am EST.
