ABOUT
INTO THE AIR uses the 20th anniversary of the publication of John Durham Peters’s Speaking into the Air (1999) as a springboard to critically and collaboratively reflect on the last two decades of work across the unruly and “undisciplined” fields of communication and media theory.

Join us for two days of panels and roundtables featuring international scholars of communication who will speak to several broad themes that are foundational to Speaking into the Air as it has been received across the humanities and social sciences: Body, Dialogue, Dissemination, History, Politics, Religion, and Technology.

Featuring a public keynote by John Durham Peters
