ATTENTION GRADUATING STUDENTS
FALL 2017 APEGA Workshop and Camp 18 Iron Ring Ceremony

The FALL 2017 APEGA Graduating Students Workshop and Camp 18 Iron Ring Ceremony is now open for online registration. Please note that this ceremony is only for University of Calgary undergraduate engineering students who:


*         Have completed their undergraduate degree requirements during the Spring/Summer 2017 semsters
or

*         Are on-track to complete degree requirements by the end of the Fall 2017 semester

Note:  you are NOT eligible to attend this ceremony if you are completing degree requirements at the end of Winter 2018.  Students in this category will be eligible for the March 2018 ceremony.  More information on that event will be sent out in February.

The APEGA Graduating Student Workshop will be held at the University of Calgary in ENG 24 and the Camp 18 Iron Ring Ceremony  will be held in MacEwan Hall A&B on Saturday, November 25th, 2017.

If you plan to work in Alberta and become registered as a Member in Training with APEGA, it is recommended that you attend the workshop.

Registration must be completed online via the Schulich website<http://schulich.ucalgary.ca/education/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students> and will be available until Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. Late registration will not be accepted. Please review all documents available for download on the link above.  It is important that you print the Request for Academic Document Form<https://schulich.ucalgary.ca/files/schulich/request-for-academic-documents-march-2017-grad_0.pdf> and take it with you on the day of the event. The "For University Use" section does not need to be filled out before the workshop.

Ring sizing can be done at any jeweler, or at the Engineering Student Centre ENC 205. The ring must be sized for the pinkie/little finger of your dominant hand.

All eligible students should apply to graduate<https://www.ucalgary.ca/registrar/graduation/apply> (the Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 applications open on November 2, 2017).

Note to Students: When you register through the online registration for the Graduating Student Workshop and Camp 18 Iron Ring Ceremony, your name and University of Calgary email address will be provided to APEGA and Camp 18 to arrange details.

You must retain the auto reply email you received to confirm your registration for your records until after the ceremony.  No other confirmation from the University of Calgary will be emailed to you.
