[ENCI-l] EXTRA - Graduation Banquet Volunteers Needed

Hello all graduating students, 


This year the 2013 Graduation Banquet will be held on March 23, 2013 after
the iron ring ceremony for this year's graduating students. The graduation
committee is looking for people who are interested in participating in the
ceremonies at various capacities. 

There are a number of roles that we are seeking students to fill: 
1. Masters of Ceremonies: A male and female graduating student will
introduce each speaker and make pertinent announcements. 
2. Toast to the parents: One or two students will deliver a toast to the
parents. 
3. Toast to the professors: One or two students will deliver a toast to the
professors. 
4. Toast to the volunteers: One or two students will deliver a toast to all
students who have volunteered their time during their degree. 
5. Class historians: One or two students per department will reflect on the
past 4, 5 or 6 years in an entertaining and professional way. This requires
creation of a slideshow and/or a video. 
6. Photographers: Non-graduating student photographers to take pictures at
the Iron Ring ceremony at 3:30pm and at the grad banquet in the evening. 


The speaking roles require one to be able to speak in front of a large group
of people and also be able to write their own speech. Don't be afraid to get
involved if you feel like a role you're interested in is daunting. The
graduation committee will do its best to help you every step of the way!
