Hello Civil Students!



March is a very busy month for everyone, and CEUS is no exception. Here's a look at what we have on the agenda:



Civil Tech Electives Night

CEUS is hosting Tech Electives night this Wednesday March 16th from 6-8pm in ENE 322. Come out and learn about the different technical electives that are offered in fourth year through short presentations from civil engineering professors. Also, if you are interested in graduate studies in civil engineering, there will be a short presentation on that topic as well. Pizza and pop will be provided by CEUS - hope to see you all there!



Civil Hoodies, Sweatpants, Jackets!

Back by popular demand, Civil Hoodies go on sale starting Monday March 14th. Hoodies are $40 each and have "CIVIL" on the front in stitched-on letters, with "U of C Engineering" silk-screened on the back. You can come to 3rd/4th year home room (ENF 307) 2pm - 3pm and find Kelvin to try some samples on for sizing. Sweat pants and Jackets are tentative as we are waiting on pricing and samples, but stay tuned!



Other days that Kelvin will be in the room: Tuesday 1pm - 3pm, Wednesday 12pm - 2pm, Friday 12pm - 2pm



Pizza Day

The next CEUS pizza day is March 22nd at 12:00 noon. Slices are $2 ea. and will be sold on the third floor of ENF (in front of the home rooms).



CEUS AGM Pub Night and Council Elections The CEUS annual general meeting will be taking place in conjunction with our last pub night of the year on Wednesday, March 29th from 6-8pm. It will be held at Jamesons (right next to the Brentwood LRT - a 5 minute walk from the university), and we will be buying the first round of drinks and appetizers. If you are interested in running for a council position, you must attend. See attached for a copy of the council application form - forms are also available in ESS starting Monday, March the 14th.

Applications are due no later than Friday, March 25th in ESS or to any current member of CEUS Council.
