[ENCI-l] Lafarge Exshaw Field Trip

Hello all civil students.

 

A second trip to the Exhsaw Cement operation has been scheduled for Wed Nov 18th and there are about 14 spots on the bus that can be filled.  We will leave the university (lot 13) in a National Coach at noon and return back to the school between 4:00 - 4:30.  The tour includes a walk through of the cement operation (ball mills, kiln, cement testing lab, concrete testing lab) and then a drive through the quarry.  It's an impressive tour and if you can make it, sign up on the sheets outside of my office (f254).
