[ENCI-l] FSYD Dress Code

To all students attending the First and Second Year Dinner on March 25:




 

A reminder that this is a professional event, set at the Fairmont Palliser
Hotel downtown. Guests from industry will be present, and it is an
opportunity for you to mix and mingle with them. The image you present is
not only a personal image of yourself, but also reflects back on the
Schulich School of Engineering as a whole.

Consequently, the dress code is business casual, indicating something you
would where to a job interview. This is a professional mixer, not a party
and as such, cocktail dresses and 'bar attire' is not appropriate. We retain
the right to refuse entry to those individuals inappropriately dressed, as
well as those deemed to be acting in an unprofessional manner (i.e.
intoxicated).
