UBC Master of Management in Operations Research Program

The Master of Management in Operations Research (MM in OR) program at the
Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia (Vancouver,
Canada), provides unparalleled depth and experience for students and
industry professionals interested in the quantitative analysis of business
problems. Designed for individuals with backgrounds in engineering,
mathematics, economics or other quantitative fields, this 16-month MM in
OR program offers a unique blend of technical coursework, practical
consulting skills, and real-world problem-solving experience that
positions students for success in today's competitive business world.

UBC MM in OR students work closely with internationally renowned faculty,
business leaders, and outstanding peers to develop and realize their goals
in a professional business environment. A highlight of the program is the
Industry Project. Each student receives generous financial support by
completing an intensive 5-month applied project with an industry partner
that addresses a significant operational issue. Working closely with
faculty and project leaders, students use the latest decision tools and
technologies to make concrete recommendations to executives of prominent
companies in Canada.

The UBC MM in OR program is an ideal alternative to an MBA for
technically-oriented students looking for a professional business degree
that utilizes their quantitative skills. UBC MM in OR students have
excellent employment potential, and graduates go on to rewarding careers
in such fields as consulting, logistics and operations analysis, and
supply chain management.
