[Engg-enci-l] Formula SAE racing team

The Formula SAE racing team is holding a recruitment meeting next week for
all
students interested in joining the team.  We are accepting undergraduate
students
from all years and from all departments for the team.  Students from
outside the
Faculty of Engineering may also apply.  Attendance at the meeting is
mandatory for
prospective members, but if you are unable to attend you can contact the
team at
fsae at ucalgary.ca so we can try to accomodate you.

The team has been competing since 2001, and is focused on the conception,
detailed
design, production and testing of a single seat, open wheel 'Formula'
style racing
car.  As a first year member, you will get experience in fabrication and
testing,
and learn about the design process.
