in staying informed on the latest and newest trends with Petroleum

If so, you need a Petroleum Society (CIM) Professional Chapter membership (
http://www.petsoc.org/).

Currently, if you are a student member of the Petroleum Society of CIM

just have graduated, you will receive your first year as a Junior Member
absolutely FREE! (A savings of $125). A Junior Member the status you
have once you have graduated from university, until you have 5 years in the
industry.

If you have not been a student member, but still interested in being a
Petroleum Society member and are in your last year of school or just have
graduated, you can still apply for student membership (
https://www.petsoc.org/memship.html) up until December this year, and then
subsequently apply to have your first year as a Junior Member be absolutely
FREE!

Now, all you have to do is submit your membership renewal form online (
https://www.petsoc.org/renewals.html) with your member number, updated
address, employer (if applicable) and a note on there saying "I graduated
Fall/Winter/Spring/ Summer 2006 etc... from the U of C." Once approved
your membership will automatically switch..

As a Petroleum Society member you will:

· Receive monthly issues of the Journal of Canadian Petroleum
Technology (JCPT)

· Full access of the Online TechBank database for technical papers

· Receive huge discounts on Society run events and services

· Advance notice of technical luncheons, courses, conferences and
other special events

· Professional development and networking opportunities

If you are not in your final year of engineering, you can still be part of
the Petroleum Society. Just look for emails from the Petroleum Club (
petrocb at ucalgary.ca<petrocb at ucalgary.ca?subject=Request%20for%20further%20information>)
starting in the fall of this year.

Thank you.
