Chacmool Members,

 

ATTN* You can still sign up to be Social Coordinator for Chacmool next
semester. You get your own office (technically shared among 4 people) and it
is a great position to put on your CV for when you graduate. Last day to
sign up is this Wednesday, December 2nd. Elections will then be held
December 3rd and 4th for the position (if applicable).

 

The deadline for signup for the Gingerbread Competition is December 3rd.
Teams can be 2-5 people and each person must pay $5 to cover the cost of the
gingerbread. You can create anything Archaeology and/or Anthropology
related. It will be held in ES 859 December 8th at 5pm. Hope to see some
awesome creations, and if you do not want to compete then you are more than
welcome to come watch and socialize that night too to celebrate the end of
the semester.

 

The ASA is still looking for some last minute volunteers for their casino
nights December 3rd and 4th. If this interests you and you would like more
information then please contact Scott at stgraham at ucalgary.ca

kjbraaten at shaw.ca <mailto:kjbraaten at shaw.ca>  This is a great opportunity to
get involved and network amongst Alberta archaeologists. 

 

This is the last full week of school before the holidays! Good luck on
getting everything handed in and preparing to study for finals!
