Panelists on the roundtable will explore how we might define the field of Black feminist media studies today. What issues, ideas, concepts, and methods are most pertinent to our analyses? Topics discussed will include ways of thinking about, and approaching, Black feminist media studies through televisual representation, digital expression, fame and visibility, sexual politics, queerness, trans identity, girl culture, the manosphere, and more.
