Hello!

Heliotrope is currently seeking submissions for our Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 publishing schedules. We are a non-traditional journal, looking for short think-&-feel pieces at the intersection of media, technology, environment and culture. If you have an idea that encompasses one or more of these subjects, we want to read it!

Submissions should be between 1200 and 1500 words, and we welcome poetic and fictional explorations as well as more traditional academic approaches to ideas. For an idea of what we’re after, you can take a look at https://www.heliotropejournal.net/ to read some of the pieces we’ve already published.
