Hello members of the Canadian Communication Association,
I am a third-year MA student in the Media Studies program at Concordia University, Montreal. My thesis research explores the impact of Generative AI (GenAI) on the teaching experience in Media Production.
I have prepared an anonymous short survey for instructors, students, technical staff, and program administrators to share their experiences with Generative AI.
If you engage in any form of artistic production and creative practices, I invite you to fill out this survey. The survey will ask questions about your own experience with AI. You are welcome to provide as much, or as little detail as you like. You can also provide me with your personal information, should you want to participate in a follow-up interview.
I will share the results as part of my final thesis submission. I would also appreciate if you could share this request with anyone who might be interested. There is no obligation for you to pass along this information, and there will be no penalty if you do not provide this information.

This study is anonymous. However, should you be interested in exploring the topic in more depth with me, the last question will ask whether you agree to have me reach out to you and discuss the possibility of an interview. Should you want to have an interview, please be aware that you will be cited in the final paper, under your true name or a coded name at your discretion.
Please reach out to me, should you have any additional questions.
Best regards,
Akira Oikawa,
MA in Media Studies, Concordia University
