I'm happy to announce the publication of a symposium on Hillary Pimlott's book, Wars of Position? <https://www.haymarketbooks.org/books/2015-wars-of-position> Marxism Today<https://www.haymarketbooks.org/books/2015-wars-of-position>, Cultural Politics and the Remaking of the Left Press, 1979-1990<https://www.haymarketbooks.org/books/2015-wars-of-position>, in the new issue of the journal, Rethinking Marxism.

The symposium includes short responses to the book from James Cairns, Nicole Cohen, Armond Towns, Tanner Mirrlees, and Matthew Flisfeder, followed by an essay in reply from Hillary Pimlott, herself.

The symposium is also based on work first presented at the annual meeting of the CCA in Toronto at York University in 2023.
