Dear CCA Colleagues,

Please join us for the events planned for Canadian Journal of Communication during the CCA at the Université de Montréal this coming Tuesday June 18th.

1. CJC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday June 18th from 12:30-13:30 at Pavillon Jean-Brillant B-3250. All CJC subscribers are invited to attend.

2. A Roundtable, "Marking 50 Years of the Canadian Journal of Communication," will take place later in the day on June 18th from 15:30-17:00 in Pavillon Jean-Brillant B-3245. We will discuss the past, present, and future of the CJC in the Canadian communications community.

Our panelists will be: Rowland Lorimer, long time Publisher/Managing Editor and former Editor of the CJC, Stuart Poyntz (SFU), our current Editor, Kim Sawchuk (Concordia), Editor of the CJC from 2005 to 2011, Leslie Shade (U of T), current CJC Policy Portal Editor, and Michael Darroch (York University), the incoming President of the CJC Board of Directors.

We also have a few awards and recognitions that we will give out in this session. All are welcome.

3. Finally, we have a 50th Anniversary Celebration of the CJC that will take place in the early evening of June 18th from 18:00-20:00 at
