would like to invite you to a keynote speaker event

War Journalist Scott Taylor. *

*The focus of the event* will be the Western military intervention in
Afghanistan and reflections on the future of Afghanistan as troops retreat.

The event will be held on *Wednesday October 29th @ 6:30pm* in *MacKimmie
Library Block, Room 202 (MB 202)*

*Information About the Speaker: *Scott Taylor is a Canadian journalist,
writer and publisher best known for military journalism and war reporting.
His coverage has included wars in Cambodia, Africa, the Persian Gulf,
Turkey, South Ossetia, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.

Taylor has been critical of the Canadian Forces and the Department of
National Defence and was dubbed the “Voice of the Grunts” by *the Globe and
Mail*, a “Bone in the Brass’ Throats” by the *Toronto Star*, and a “One Man
Army” by the *Toronto Sun*.
