[ENCI-l] NEW SUSE couurses - can be taken as a Group B tech elective

Dear Civil Students,

I hope that you all are enjoying the summer so far.

I just would like to inform you the following three new courses offered by SUSE (Sustainable System Engineering) in 2025-2026 that you may be interested in.

  *   SUSE 511: Food, Agriculture, and Biomass Systems (Joanna Zhong na.zhong at ucalgary.ca<mailto:na.zhong at ucalgary.ca>)
  *   SUSE 589: Industrial Ecology (Luis Virla ldvirlaa at ucalgary.ca<mailto:ldvirlaa at ucalgary.ca>)
  *   SUSE 591: Advanced Renewable Energy Systems (Seiran Heshami seiran.heshami at ucalgary.ca<mailto:seiran.heshami at ucalgary.ca>)

The course syllabuses (draft) are enclosed here for your information. If you have any questions on course contents, please feel free to contact the course instructors.

Please note that civil students can take one non-civil course or one graduate-level course as a Group B tech elective. If you are interested in taking one of the courses as a Group B tech elective, please let me know. I can help with the course enrollment.
