[ENCI-l] REMINDER: Apply for the CSEM Engineering Student of the Year Award

[Students in Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program]

Dear 4th and Final Year Engineering Students,

The Canadian Society for Engineering Management (CSEM) offers the CSEM Engineering Student of the Year Award.
This award is presented annually to a graduating student from the Schulich School of Engineering.

The selection for this award is based on the following criteria:


  *   Academic Merit (50%)
  *   Technical or Practical Aptitude (25%)
  *   Extra-Curricular Activities (25%)

If you are a 4th or Final Year Engineering student expecting to graduate in May 2025 and believe your achievements
align with or exceed these criteria, we encourage you to apply. To be considered, please submit the following:


  *   A résumé (maximum 2 pages).
  *   A cover letter (maximum 2 pages) with three sections highlighting your accomplishments in each
of the above categories.

Important Application Details:


  *   Combine both documents into a single PDF file.
  *   Email the PDF file to jamess at ucalgary.ca<mailto:jamess at ucalgary.ca> with the subject line "CSEM Award Your NAME_Student ID".

The application deadline is Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:59 PM (MT).

Applications will be reviewed by the Associate Dean of Student Success and Interdisciplinary Academic
Programs and presented to the Engineering Undergraduate Studies Committee for approval.
