Attached please find some information on the Calgary Black Chambers Pembina Leadership Scholarship below:

Hello,

On behalf of the Calgary Black Chambers Pembina Leadership Scholarship at Calgary Foundation we request your assistance in promoting this scholarship opportunity which is for Black students entering second year of study or beyond of a full-time undergraduate degree or diploma program studying Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Land Administration, Political Science, or Policy Studies. Please share this message with your community and with any applicants that may be eligible.

Applicants must:

  *   Be a Black Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  *   Be entering second year or beyond of a full-time undergraduate degree or diploma program, studying Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Land Administration, Political Science, or Policy Studies.

  *   Be attending a Calgary post-secondary institution or graduated from a high school in Airdrie, Diamond Valley, Calgary, Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks, Springbank or Strathmore and attending a Canadian post-secondary institution.

  *   Demonstrate good academic standing (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 2.7 or 70%).

  *   Demonstrate school and/or community involvement.

  *   Provide one reference letter.

There are five awards valued at $7,000, applied directly to tuition. The deadline to apply is June 1 at midnight. Eligible applicants are encouraged to access award information directly at: https://calgaryfoundation.org/student-awards/
