Sent on behalf of Dr. Estacio Pereira and Dr. Marjan Eggermont, SSE Momentum Directors for Engineering Education:
Dear Civil Majors,
We are calling all students interested in positively impacting social, economic and environmental challenges!
University of Calgary Schulich Momentum is partnering with the How to Change the World social enterprise to allow you to participate in one of their upcoming Global Sustainability Project Bootcamps.
During the Bootcamp, you would have the opportunity to…
· …tackle real-world sustainability challenges, as part of interdisciplinary and multi-institutional teams. Participants engage with local community representatives and are supported by leading global experts.
· …build skills employers want. From human-centered design to digital collaboration, you will develop the mindset, skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic professional world.
· …receive a Digital Badge acknowledging the work you accomplish in the Bootcamp – a recognition you can add to your CV and LinkedIn.
· …gain exclusive access to an upcoming Careers Connection event where you will network with sustainability leaders from companies like Deloitte, Arup, EllisDon and many more (most of these companies also have directly relevant internship and job opportunities!).
Further details and the short application form are available at:
