[ENCI-l] Fall 2024 Deferred Final Exam Pilot Project

[Students in Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program]

Hello Students,
The Schulich School of Engineering and the Faculty of Science, in collaboration with the Registrar's Office, will hold some deferred final exams for Fall 2024 Science and Engineering courses during January 6-10, 2025, rather than later in January. This scheduling change is intended to support student progress for Winter courses where the Fall course serves as a prerequisite. Taking the deferred exam in early January allows students to make informed decisions about their Winter 2025 course load before the add/drop deadline of the Winter semester.
The course ENCI 461: Mechanics of Solids and Structures has been selected for this early deferred final exam pilot project, as it is a prerequisite for a Winter term course. If your request for a deferred exam in this course is approved, you will be scheduled to write it between January 6-10, 2025. You can apply for a deferred exam through your Student Centre.
