Please let me introduce you to the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC) established in March 2003. IIFC has 265 members representing academia and industry from about 40 countries on six continents. IIFC is the only international professional organization dedicated to using fibre-reinforced composite materials (FRP) in Civil infrastructure. The mission of the Institute is to advance the understanding and application of FRP composites in the civil infrastructure, in the service of the engineering profession and society.
With the establishment of the IIFC Western Canada Chapter, to uphold the vision of the IIFC and continue to support and advance the activities of IIFC, particularly the promotion of FRP in construction, the chapter is organizing a series of webinars.
The next webinar will be held on September 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm PDT (4:00pm MT) via ZOOM – Meeting ID: 94089544452. The topic is “V-ROD® GFRP Reinforcing in Concrete Structures,” presented by Mr. Gene Latour, VP Sales for V-ROD Canada, representative and partner of Pultrall Inc.
