ATTENTION: Students planning on Graduating in Feb 2024 or May 2024.
Graduation eligibility check:
1. First, review your Academic Requirements (AR) Report<https://www.ucalgary.ca/registrar/student-centre/academic-requirements>.
my.ucalgary.ca > Program and Advising Info tab > Academic Requirements
1. If your AR Report shows as satisfied, OR you have confirmation of substitutions or credits being approved by your department (or the ESC) there is no need for further review
* Keep any email confirmations on approvals. We have done the same.
* Unsatisfied items in your AR report will not impact your ability to apply to graduate or to be approved for graduation if you have previous substitution approvals
* The Departments and EUSC review committee will be using many other reports as well as the Academic Calendar to determine graduation eligibility
2. If you wish to have your AR Report updated with any approved substitutions or equivalent courses indicated, please email engginfo at ucalgary.ca<mailto:engginfo at ucalgary.ca>.
3. If you have any course concerns that have not been documented or confirmed, please email engginfo at ucalgary.ca<mailto:engginfo at ucalgary.ca> or join ESC drop-in advising<https://schulich.ucalgary.ca/current-students/undergraduate/student-resources/qless> to speak with an advisor.
4. The Letter of Permission official transcript submission deadline will be found on this link as the grad dates get closer. (only applicable if you have completed a course outside of the U of Calgary and have yet to see credit posted/applied) https://www.ucalgary.ca/graduation/dates
**A meeting to review your grad eligibility is not mandatory, but November is a great time to meet with us to make any changes needed to your winter scheduling to avoid the much busier advising times later into December and January.
Convocation and Grad Information: (Winter conferral or May Convocation)
For all 4th/final year students
1. Monitor and review all important dates and deadlines from the Conferral / Convocation checklist ucalgary.ca/registrar/graduation<https://www.ucalgary.ca/registrar/graduation>
2. Monitor this website for application/ceremony date information etc.: ucalgary.ca/registrar/graduation/when-apply<https://www.ucalgary.ca/registrar/graduation/when-apply>
3. Questions about the ceremony, parchment, or photography questions not covered by their website can to be directed to Enrolment Services<https://www.ucalgary.ca/registrar/contact-us> or convinfo at ucalgary.ca<mailto:convinfo at ucalgary.ca>.
Iron Ring ceremony or APEGA workshops -
1. Please monitor the SSE Iron Ring/APEGA website: schulich.ucalgary.ca/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students/iron-ring-ceremony<https://schulich.ucalgary.ca/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students/iron-ring-ceremony> which provides further information for this ceremony when it is next offered (typically Mar/Apr) if you have not already participated.
