[ENCI-l] Request for participation in survey on EDI in STEM

[Students in Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program]

Dear STEM student/Staff/faculty:

I would like to invite you to participate in a voluntary survey researching gender and race in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education and career in Canadian academic organizations. The aim of this research is first to collect the accurate populations of students/staffs/faculties in STEM programs based on their gender and race and secondly to understand the experiences of visible minority women in the mentioned programs in order to a) develop structures and equitable environment to support all underrepresented groups and b) increase the visibility of visible minority women in STEM in Canada.

Below you will find links to an online survey. The survey is estimated to take about twenty minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous, and your data will be kept within Canadian servers.

Once you have completed the survey, if you are interested in finding out the results or know about the progress of the research, please send an email request to one of the research team members.
