[Students in Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program]

**Attention 2nd and 3rd year students**

Please find some information regarding the PURE Award.

Hi Students,

I am contacting you to introduce you to the PURE Award whether you are interested in graduate studies or not, this PURE program is an exciting way to get in the lab and work on innovative projects with my research team (3 PhDs).

If you are interested in working with me and my team this summer, fill out and submit a PURE application (link below) before the deadline (Feb 5 2021 at 4pm). If successful, you would be paid up to $6000 to work with me and my team in the lab. For my project specifically these are some of the things you could learn:

  *   Conduct material tests (compression and tension)
  *   Learn how to install strain measurement devices
  *   Conduct full-scale loading tests on beams
  *   Work with concrete and ultra-high-performance concrete and Learn how to construct beams and other test specimens.
