Microsoft Word I
If you use Microsoft Word for essays, reports or academic papers, this session is for you. Learn all about Word’s hidden characters and commands so that it does what you want it to do. You will especially love it if you have to type a report and need a table of contents. This is not an introductory course, so get ready to take in some great tips and timesavers!
Topics include but are not limited to:
* Non printing characters and codes
* Changing default settings
* Tables
* Getting things to line up quickly (Tabs and indents)
* Paragraph spacing
* Styles
* Table of contents
* Keyboard shortcuts

Do you want to change things up in your document such as different headers and footers or orientation (portrait/landscape)? Don't get frustrated; creating sections is the answer. This session will teach you how to create sections, add customization, and covers many other topics designed to make your life easier.

* Chapter and book formatting with different headers
* Formatting reports/articles/academic papers (cover page, table of figures, page numbers, references, formatting columns, etc.)
