[ENCI-l] Dialog Structural Design Scholarship

[Students in Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program]

Hello everyone,



The 2020 scholarship competition is on!

This competition is about the structural design and model construction of a bridge. You can compete individually (preferably) or in teams. All teams will submit a report and the bridges will undergo a loading test. The best performing teams will be invited for an oral presentation for final scholarship decision.

Important Note:

For the 2020 competition, and due to pandemic conditions, students are encouraged to participate individually. Those who choose to work in teams are required to confirm that only one team member will be building the model - to reduce unnecessary contact.



Scholarship:

Up to $7,500 distributed by the judging committee



Bonus mark:

up to a 5% in ENCI 461 & 551 based on grading of written submission and bridge performance at the loading test



Eligibility:

Scholarship is open to full-time Schulich School of Engineering students in good standing and registered in ENCI 461 & 551.
