Marketing Yourself as a Good Hire Series


1.       Networking Effectively on LinkedIn (Panel Discussion)

  *   Wednesday, August 12th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
  *   This event will take form as a panel discussion with HR professionals and hiring managers on how to effectively use your LinkedIn and how to expand your network to land your ideal job. The panel will also be joined by an EIT who will be providing her perspective on how she utilizes LinkedIn for job searching and networking purposes. 2.       Public Speaking Workshop

  *   Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM (with a presentation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and a virtual practice session from 6:10 PM to 7:10 PM)
  *   This event will focus on improving and practicing your public speaking skills with a presentation focusing on the most effective ways to become a public speaker. Attendees will be given an opportunity to utilize these techniques in a practice session that will be run shortly after the presentation.
