[ENCI-l] Troitsky 36th Annual Competition Exec Recruitment

Good Morning Civil Students,



Are you mad? Like pissed of mad? When you went into Engineering, did you think you were eventually gonna build something? But look at you, you’re watching some guy on YouTube teach MatLab in a foreign language. For the ones who always smell like WD-40, here is your chance to finally show your craftsman skills. The UofC’s Troitsky Bridge Building Team is looking for two Executives to fill there Treasure and Communication role. The Troitsky Bridge Building Competition is an event hosted by the University of Concordia in Montreal, Quebec. Every year in March, Universities from across Canada compete to build the most efficient bridge design within the allowed dimensions. The competition encourages innovation by restricting the bridge to be constructed only out of popsicle sticks, white glue, and dental floss. If you would like to participate, and are not interested in being an executive, there will be another application open later this semester, be on the look out!



The duties for each of these roles are as follows:

Treasurer: In charge of the application of funding. This would include SSAF, Corporate Sponsorships, and any other opportunities for sourcing funds. The executive would also be responsible for managing the organizations funding.

Communication Executive: Responsible for any advertisements, internal and external communications.



*Note: All Execs need to participate in the competition. Not because it is regulation, but because that would just be sad you know.
