Hi Everyone,

If you have not already done so, this is the final reminder to register for the iron ring today.  Here's the link:  http://schulich.ucalgary.ca/education/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students

Note that the deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:59pm.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
SPRING 2015 Iron Ring Ceremony and APEGA Workshop


We would like to inform you that the registration for the SPRING  2015 Iron Ring Workshop and Ceremony is now open for online registration.   Please note that this ceremony is only for University of Calgary undergraduate engineering students:


  *   who  are on-track for completing your undergraduate degree requirements by the end of April 2015.

OR


  *   you completed your degree requirements at the end of Fall 2014 and did not attend the November 2014 iron ring ceremony.

The ceremony, workshop and luncheon will be held at the TELUS Convention Centre, 136  - 8th Avenue SE, Calgary on Saturday,
March 21st, 2015.

Registration is on line via the following link http://schulich.ucalgary.ca/education/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students and will be available until Friday, February 27, 2015.  Please review all documents available for download on the link above, and ensure that you print the Request for Academic Document and take it with you on the day of the event, Saturday, March 21.

Ring sizing can be done at any jeweler, or at the Engineering Student Centre (formerly the Engineering Undergraduate Studies Office),
SB 149.  The ring must be sized for the pinkie/little finger of your dominant hand.

The following information is required when registering online:

  1.  Name (must match exactly the name used by the University of Calgary on your transcript)
  2.  Whether you will attend the workshop* and luncheon, and include details of food allergies, if applicable.
  3.  Ring size of the pinkie/little finger of your dominant hand.
  4.  Student ID number and engineering program (Civil, Electrical, etc.)

 *If you plan to work in Alberta and become registered as a Member In Training with APEGA, it is recommended that you attend the workshop.

Also note, if you are completing your last course(s) in Spring or Summer 2015, you will be eligible to attend the November 2015 Iron Ring Ceremony, for which registration begins in early October 2015.
