Don't Wait! Apply to Graduate!

If you anticipate being done your degree requirements in the Winter 2015 term then it's time to apply for graduation. If you anticipate being done your degree requirements in the Spring or Summer 2015 terms then it's time to familiarize yourself with the deadlines to apply for graduation.

Did you know?
1) All students must apply to graduate
2) Applying to graduate is not connected to whether you plan to attend your convocation ceremony

DO NOT wait to apply until you have completed your courses
DO NOT wait to apply until your grades are posted
DO NOT wait to apply until you have defended your thesis
DO NOT wait to apply until you have submitted your thesis

There is no penalty if your application to graduate is denied. You just re-apply for the next available convocation.

Application Deadlines:

Spring Convocation (May and June) - For students who anticipate completing their degree requirements by the end of the Winter term should apply for this convocation
Apps close: Sunday March 1st, 2015

Fall Convocation (November) - For students who anticipate completing their degree requirements by the end of the Spring and/or Summer terms should apply for this convocation
Apps open: March 1st
Apps close: September 1st

How to Apply:
Applications for graduation are completed via your Student Centre (Go to the 'Academics' section, then in the drop down menu titled 'Other Academics' select 'Apply to Graduate', select your program(s) and follow the steps listed).
