IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
FALL 2014 Iron Ring Ceremony and APEGA Workshop

We would like to inform you that the registration for the FALL 2014 Iron Ring Workshop and Ceremony is now available online.   Please note that this ceremony is only for undergraduate engineering students who will have completed their degree requirements over the SPRING, SUMMER or FALL semesters of 2014.

The ceremony, workshop and luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at The Calgary Telus Convention Centre, 136- 8th Avenue SE, Calgary.

Registration is on line via the following link http://schulich.ucalgary.ca/education/current-students/undergraduate/graduating-students and will be available until Friday, October 31st, 2014.  Please review all documents available for download on the link above, and ensure that you print the Member-In-Training Application Form and bring it with you on the day of the event, Saturday, November 22.

Ring sizing can be done at any jeweler, or at the Engineering Student Centre (formerly the Engineering Undergraduate Studies Office),
ENC 204.  The ring must be sized for the pinkie/little finger of your dominant hand.

We will review your record to ensure eligibility, and will contact you by email if there are any problems.  If you have any questions, please contact us at engginfo at ucalgary.ca<mailto:engginfo at ucalgary.ca> or 403-220-5732.

The following information is required when registering online:

  1.  Name (how you would like it to appear on your certificate)
  2.  Whether you will attend the workshop* and or luncheon, and details of food allergies, if applicable.
  3.  Ring size of the pinkie/little finger of your dominant hand
  4.  Student ID number and engineering program (Civil, Electrical, etc.)
 *If you plan to work in Alberta and become registered as a Member In Training with APEGA, it is recommended that you attend the workshop.
