EIC Engineering Student of the Year Medal

Donor Name:  Canadian Society for Engineering Management

Number of Awards: 1

Award Value: Medal

Eligibility:  The EIC medal is awarded annually to a student graduating from
engineering in June, and is based on the following criteria: 

·         Awarded annually to a graduating student in the Schulich School of
Engineering

·         Academic merit* (50%) 

·         Demonstrated technical or practical aptitude (25%)

·         Extra-curricular activities (25%)

·         Not presented at Convocation

*The 2014 academic merit portion will be determined based on final grades in
Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and Fall 2013/Winter 2014 Academic years

·         a minimum GPA of 3.50 in each academic year is required. 

Note regarding Internship:  For students who were on Internship in Fall
2012/Winter 2013, final grades for the Fall 2011/Winter 2012 and Fall
2013/Winter 2014 academic years will be used for the calculation.

this award, please apply in writing as indicated below.

Application:  Submit your résumé with information about your performance in
the three areas:   academic merit, technical or practical aptitude, and
extra-curricular activities.

A committee will determine the recipient of the award.  All information
provided will be kept in confidence.
