To all civil students, just a reminder about our first CSCE Young
Professionals Mixer that is happening tonight (February 29, 2012 at 6:30
pm).  See you all there!


 

The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is beginning a Young
Professionals (YP) initiative across Canada. The purpose of this initiative
is to encourage involvement in CSCE by professionals between the stages of
graduation up to approximately ten years of experience. 

At the Calgary Section, we are kicking off our Young Professionals group by
hosting:

The Student-Professional Transition - A Kickoff Mixer


Wednesday, February, 29, 2012; 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Metropolitan Grill (TD Square), 317-7th Avenue SW
This event is meant to foster a relaxed atmosphere for soon-to-be graduates
to mingle with Young Professionals, and Young Professionals to mingle with
Experienced Professionals. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the venue
so that you can ask questions about what it is like to go through various
career transitions and get advice for excelling at it!


Tickets are: $20 at the door
Ticket prices include: appetizers, a drink ticket, an entry for door prizes,
and the chance to have all your career transition questions answered.
This event is for both CSCE Members and Non-Members. 
Please drink responsibly, plan your way home, and don't drink and drive. 
(The 4th Street SW C-train station is conveniently located nearby.)
