[ENCI-l] CLUB: REMINDER: Graduation Speakers Needed

TO ALL 4TH/5TH YEAR ENGG STUDENTS:

 

LAST CHANCE:

 

The grad committee is looking for people who are interested in participating
in the banquet program.  If you are interested in auditioning for one of the
positions listed below, please contact Sarah Chow at sechow at ucalgary.ca BY
THURSDAY, MARCH 17.  More specific information will be given to those who
express interest.

 

            2 Master of Ceremonies:  1 guy and 1 girl to introduce each
speaker and make any pertinent announcements through the evening

            1 Toast to the Parents:  1 student to deliver a toast to the
parents

            1 Toast to the Professors:  1 student to deliver a toast to the
professors

            1 Toast to the Volunteers:  1 student to deliver a toast to all
of the volunteers

 

Note that class historians and professor award presenters are being
recruited separately by each department representative. Auditions will
consist of short, sample speeches so that we can evaluate your speaking and
presentation skills.  If you are interested but afraid to write your own
speech, the grad committee will be more than happy to help you.  Help make
this an event to remember!
