[ENCI-l] 3 days left for the ESS Christmas Toy Drive

TO ALL ENGG STUDENTS:

 

 

This Christmas, ESS has initiated a new Christmas charity project.

 

The 10 Days of Christmas Toy Drive will be running December 1 - 10. During
this time ESS will be collecting toys which will be donated to The Magic of
Christmas, a local charity providing toys to needy children in Calgary. In
2009, The Magic of Christmas visited over 250 families in Calgary and
surrounding area; for the 2010 Holiday Season their goal is to visit over
300 families. Let's help them meet their goal!

 

Drop off new, unused toys in the collection box located in the ESS Office
(ENE 132). With every toy you drop off you can enter your name in a draw for
a fantastic prize! We are hoping to see a mountain of toys in the office by
the end of the 10 days!

 

We will be collecting toys for all ages - from babies to teenagers. Some toy
ideas include: action figures, dolls, books, stuffed animals, toy cars,
craft materials, games, etc. Feel free to get creative! What did you like to
play with as a kid?

 

As you get ready to enjoy the holidays, help to make a child's Christmas
memorable by donating a toy! 

You may also participate in a 50/50 draw - tickets are $2 each or 3/$5 and
are available in ESS (ENE 132).  This money will also be used to buy toys.
