TO ALL ENGG STUDENTS:

Engineering Week or Engg Week is approaching at a rapid speed. This week,
the first week of winter term, is filled with many events that encompass a
vast amount of topics. As you have maybe heard, each department competes
against each department in all these events. There are many events but not
as important as that of Key Clue.

This is the least advertised event of all and few actually know about it,
but is exceptionally rewarding. The general point is that a traditional
house key or similar key is hidden within the City limits, and each
department must solve clues throughout the week to help find this key. The
clues can be anything that the keymasters (the people who design the hunt)
dream up. Consequently, there is a need for help.

There will be an information session at 5:00 pm Tuesday December 7th in ENC
33. Information will be distributed and the basics of key clue taught. There
is not really that much to learn but learning it ahead of time instead of on
the spot provides a significant advantage.

If you are in first year, I strongly recommend getting involved in Engg Week
as there is no better time of the year. I also recommend at least looking at
key clue. It may not be for everybody, but it is certainly a lot of fun. I
have participated in it for 4 years, capturing the key once, and will be
participating again this year.

I hope to see many of you at the meeting on DEC 7.

Chemical Engineering Key Clue Lead
