Hey all!
Are you in your last year and thinking back to all the crazy things you've
done and all the wonderful people you've met over the years? Or are you in
your first few years and just looking for more ways to get involved?
We are looking for people to join the yearbook committee!! We need a
Department Representative from each department as well as more volunteers to
assist with the creation of this publication. If you are interested, please
send an email to Robyn Paul ( <mailto:rmpaul at ucalgary.ca>
rmpaul at ucalgary.ca) by November 1st. Include your year, department and which
position you are interested in. Please mention any relevant experience (but
if you are enthusiastic about helping, yearbook experience is not a
requirement!).
Below, find a list of the different positions and some of the expected
responsibilities for your position.
Department Representatives (Mech/Manu, Geo, Zoo, Civil, Chem, (Biomed,
Enviro))
- preferably a 4th year student
- create the department pages, including layout and content
- collect photos from peers within department
- ensure that the largest number of people within the department are
represented
- commitment about 2 hrs/week in 1st semester, 2-5 hrs/week in second
semester
Yearbook Contributers
- any year student acceptable
- collect photos and information from engineernig clubs and events
- assist with layout and content for clubs, events and all other
non-departmental pages
- commitment about 2 hrs/week in 1st semester, 2-5 hrs/week in second
semester
