Great news everyone!

If you enjoy student design competitions, or WANT to enjoy student design
competitions, we've got an opportunity for you. On March 27th, the IEEE
Student Branch presents "Innovation for Humanity: The Design Challenge
2010". During this one-day challenge, University students will compete to do
the best design and implementation of something that will be revealed on the
day of the event.

The challenges will be accompanied by lunch, awards, and a presentation by
George Roter, co-CEO of Engineers Without Borders Canada. Medals will be
awarded to teams for each event in each division and overall for the high
school division. If you register before March 19th, your $7.50 registration
fee per person will be dropped. Registration closes on March 24. If you have
any questions, please contact Isabel Chan (ijychan at ucalgary.ca) or Mike Yan
(jwmyan at ucalgary.ca).

Register at www.innovationforhumanity.ca. We know the website isn't great,
but it is functional.
