[ENCI-l] CEUS Council Positions Available 2010-2011

Hello Civil students,

Are You looking for a place to get involved with your school? Would you
 consider a student leadership position where you can gain valuable people
 skills and event coordination experience? Are you a second, third or
fourth year Civil engineering Student?

The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Society (CEUS) is looking for
executive council members for the 2010-2011 academic year!

The positions available include:

-VP Events-
Responsible for the charity and social events run by the CEUS. These
include events such as student mixers, Pub Nights, Pizza Days, and Frosh
Week and Engg Week.

-VP External-
Responsible for council sponsorship, CEUSwear, and any other matters
 external to the student body at the school.

-VP Finance-
Responsible for the coordination of financial matters which includes the
 sale of desks in the third and fourth year homerooms.

-VP Communications-
Responsible for any and all communications put out by CEUS, this includes
setting up and using the CEUS mailing list for email advertising, as well
as designing, printing and hanging posters.

-VP Academic-
Responsible for the student Career Fair, Technical Elective Night, as well
as updating and distributing the ceus.tests exam bank.

-VP Operations-
Responsible for the upkeep and maintainance of the student homerooms as
well as the civil vending machines, "Peanut" room, and taking in the
bottles and cans for recycling.

-President-
Must have been an executive on a previous department council (CEUS), or the
 Engineering Students Society (ESS)
Responsible for the general guidance of CEUS, representing CEUS council at
ESS meetings as well as President's council meetings, representing the
Civil Engineering student body to the Civil Engineering department,
planning and organizing weekly CEUS council meetings

-Class Representatives (x3)-
A Second-year, Third-year, and Fourth-year class representative is
needed to make annoucements to their corresponding class in order to
 advertise for CEUS activities and events.

All council members are expected to help out with Frosh Week and Engg
Week, attend all weekly meetings, and help out at other times when needed
& possible.

 so we can invite you to our Annual General Meeting as a potential
candidate for an Executive position.  The AGM will be held at Jamesons on
Tues. March 23rd at 6pm.
