[ENCI-l] support civil engineering endowment fund application

Dear Students

most 3rd and 4th year students would have had a signature sheet passed 
around in one of your classes on which you could show your support for 
this year's civil engineering proposal to the U of C Engineering 
Endowment Fund.

In case you didn't have the chance to sign this sheet in class, but 
would like to show your support of the application (the more the 
better!!!) please stop by ENF 212 anytime, day or night, and sign the 
sheet that is on my door.

I am preparing the application on behalf of the department for the 
significant costs (~$25,000) related to the acquisition of the Autodesk 
(AutoCAD, REVIT, etc) suite and SAP2000 software packages.
These computing tools are very important to civil engineers and if you 
haven't yet had the chance to use these, I'm sure most of you will 
before you leave these hallowed halls and more than likely in your 
future careers.

So please show your support of the application, sign the sheet on my 
door, ENF 212. *NO LATER THAN Thursday March 11.*
