To ALL Engineering students:

DATE & LOCATION CHANGE - Due to conflicts with a large number of midterms,
the solar car recruitment session will now be held Thursday Oct 8 at 7pm in
ENE 322 (the Wednesday session has been canceled). If you aren't able to
make this new date/time but are still interested in joining the team, please
email me. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Join the Solar Car team!

If you are looking for an exciting hands on project, this is your
opportunity! We are currently working on designing and building our third
car, which will be raced across North America in 2010 and Australia in 2011.

We are looking for people to join our electrical engineering, mechanical
engineering, race logistics/drivers and business teams. No prior knowledge
or experience is necessary, just be prepared to have lots of fun.

Opportunities on the electrical engineering team include: Batteries/Battery
Protection System, Electric Motor, Array/Solar Cells, Instrumentation
Opportunities on the mechanical engineering team include: Aeroshell
Production, Chassis Design and Production, Suspension and Steering
Opportunities on the race logistics team include: Safety, Ideal Speed
Calculations, Radio Management, Weather Analysis, Driving, Convoy Training

For more information please join us in ENE 322 (Engineering Block E, third
floor) on Thursday October 8 at 7pm for a presentation.
