[ENCI-l] APPLICATIONS FOR COMMISSIONER POSITIONS DUE APRIL 1ST AT NOON

TO ALL ENGG STUDENTS:

Applications for Commissioner Positions on ESS Council are due April 1st at
Noon in the ESS office (ENE 132). Applications can be found on
ess.ucalgary.ca

Positions include the following:  

Artistic Commissioner: Responsible for the image and presentation of the
Engineering Students' Society. As an organization that represents all
Engineering Students, it is important that a strong and consistent message
is communicated at all times. 

Publications Commissioner: Responsible for all major publications produced
by the ESS. Most are long term projects and so require long term strategy to
ensure completion. 

Sponsorship Commissioner: Responsible for all corporate relations and
communications. Several events seek corporate sponsorship and it is the job
of the Sponsorship Commissioner to ensure these goals are met while
maintaining a professional rapport with the sponsors. 

Social Commissioner: Responsible for the organization, planning and clean up
of the weekly event "POETS". POETS, also known as Dean's Pub, is one of the
longest standing events of ESS offering students a chance to wind down and
socialize every Friday.  

Interviews will place on Thursday April 2 and Friday April 3 after 5:00pm.
Applicants will be contacted with an interview time. For more information
