If you are enthusiastic about civil engineering, then we need your help!!
On Monday February 9, 2009 from 5 - 8:30 pm we have our chance to
convince the first year students to choose civil engineering as their
program of choice.
We need volunteers to be present at the Civil Engineering Booth
(including setup and take down).
Location is the exhibition/concert hall on the lower level of Mac Hall.
*Undergrad Students*: You are some of our best ambassadors for the first
year students. You still remember what it was like in first year. Your
assistance at the booth between 5 pm and 8:30 pm would be very much
appreciated.
Any teams (GNCTR, Concordia etc) are also strongly encouraged to bring
your "projects" to put on display.
*Grad Students and Faculty: * Your enthusiasm for civil engineering has
got you this far, why not share some of it with our first year
students!! Your assistance with set-up, take-down and manning of the
booth would be fantastic!
**If you can spare some time on Monday Feb 9 between 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm
(even just 1 hour - the more the better) then please reply to this
message (contact: Ms. Stephanie Quilliams sequilli at ucalgary.ca) by
*Thursday February 5th, 2009*.
*What's in it for you? *All volunteers will be entered in a draw for a
$50 Bookstore gift card and drinks and refreshments will be provided.
Thanks in advance!!
Shelley
