[ENCI-l] Open House-Call for Volunteers

Hi All!

For those who have not met me, I'm Rob Deptford, the new recruitment and 
awards officer for Schulich.

Open House 2009 is rapidly approaching -- scheduled for *Saturday, April 
4* -- and we need your help! If you recall from last year, this is a 
student-driven event, and it's an excellent opportunity for you to 
welcome into the Schulich community the students who will be joining 
your network in the fall. These students will be your future industry 
colleagues, and any of them may one day be your boss, so why not start 
building some relationships? Plus, it's fun to meet people!

*_Here's what we're looking for:_*

*Event Committee* (meets once a week leading up to the event)
- one committee chair
- approximately 15 committee participants to fill various roles

*Event Volunteers* (to make things happen on the day of the event)
- No such thing as too many of these folks!

As in previous years, Dr. Mike Kallos will join the team, and he and I 
will do our best to offer guidance and help make your ideas a reality.

By the way, if you were involved with this event last year, it would be 
great to have you back to share your experience!

We need to jump on this right away, so *please e-mail me before Friday, 
January 30* and let me know how you would like to participate -- either 
on the committee or just at the event. Dr. Kallos and I will put the 
committee together with a goal of beginning our meetings next week.

I'm told we have a great group of enthusiastic volunteers here, and I 
look forward to working with you!
